why is it so difficult to get the kids ready to go on a fun trip? maybe going to the zoo isnt so fun for them

You need to take them on a proper Tiyul.

It's because they're kids. I'm told (& am slowly learning) that it's difficult to take kids anywhere.

try adding water to the tiyul, it usually works

think back to when we were kids...lets say on vacation... about to leave to do something fun.. except no one was ready.. now remember mom saying "if you want to spend your whole vacation sitting in front of the TV we can just stay in the hotel all day.." it's a kid thing... nothing to do with the activity...and maybe the zoo isn't fun for them (again)
