thanksgiving feast

like sand in the hourglass... there was only 1 main table that could fit everyone comfortably at the gruenberg thanksgiving dinner there was a kids table in the kitchen. it just didnt feel right sitting all at one table in the dining room, so devo , justin, bobby(he really is in town) and myself sat in the kitchen as is family tradition. there were no tables in the basement no other table in the living room. it was small and yet also so full of life. there was the gruenberg 4, the zacks 9 including mom, dad and us ,uncle jerry and aunt bev (who was sporting a much lighter orange red than usual purple red) and rodney and lanny. the festivities started with the usual drinking and hor d'ourves in the lower level, after some time the party moved on upstairs where we were treated to 2 succulent brisket's and 2 yummy turkeys. with stuffing, apple crisp (apple kugel on shabbos) and potatoes. (the children went to watch charlotte's web during this time ) after a few rounds of that we settled in for some yummy dessert which consisted of cake of 7 layers, chocolate cake, play doh cookies and chocolate chip cookies. all who were not there were sorely missed. the milaines the bocas the sammy's the arlans, the monique's the melissa's and all the children that come with them . all the way at the end arlans daughter pam showed up, but we were done eating by then so it doesnt really count.
have a good shabbos
