if a 4th grader has a report to do and it can either be done in cursive or on the computer is it inappropriate for the parent of the student to type the paper for her? the student has already written a rough draft. your thoughts are welcome

I don't see why that should be a problem, unless part of the homework isn't a test of her typing skills.

we had a non electric typewriter, of course!!!!

It is time for to weigh in on this weighty mater. My only problem with you typeing the paper is that it was a "rough " draft. As you type it- you will probably make adjustments which is not good. If you only type- that is OK\

My mom once types a paper for me and used the word entrpenuer. (she was actually talking about simi if i remb correctly)anyway, my teacher called me up in front of the whole class and asked me what it mean, i had no idea!!!
