Commas

We have a Machloket in the house.

Who of you puts a comma after each item in a list, but not before the "and"? And who puts a comma before the "and"? Both are acceptable grammatically, by the way.

  • the and is instead of the comma, you would not put a comma and the write and, it's like writing "and etc."

  • Commas are like pepper, you add one whenever you need a little extra spice. As you know a comma could save your grand mother's life
as in " I'm hungry, lets eat grandmother" as opposed to "I'm hungry, lets eat, grandmother."
I hoope this has solved your family Mochlokes.

  • It seems that people born with the last name "Zacks" are least likely to use a comma before the "and". So far Mom and I disagree with you.
