lag b'omer

we went to a carnival at oak park park put on by the LUBEES. their advertisement touted CLOWNS, LIVE MUSIC, FREE COTTON CANDY, and more it was scheduled for 1:30 pm, and we got there at 2:oopm, firstly they didnt start it yet. but when we got there we went straight to the clown to make us some balloons, she wouldnt do it, she told us we had to go sit down and the rally was about to start, so we listened and sat down, SEPERATELY boys on the right and girls on the left. uh oh, then the rebbi's shaliach got up and started the RALLY, which involved tzedakah giving, saying lots of psukim and listeing to torah, and then they said it, i couldnt beleive it, they said the REBBE ZETZAL, NOT SHLITA!!!!!!! that was the best part of the afternoon, after the hour long propaganda and the car with the tefilin on them , we got to go get our free cootton candy, balloons and go on the moonbounces a few times. then we had to go to the upsherin and watch jonah get his haircut, after all the crying was done, natalie wiped her eyes and seemed happy. then we went to the grossbards for a awesome BBQ. burgers and dogs and baked beans baby! and corn, a good time was had by all and by the end of the day my kids were tired and CRANKY so i left and went to shul and when i came home they were all clean and in bed, kudos to devorah
