  • Golda, are these "poor people" your children?

Two years ago, I cooked double my entire Shavuot fare so I could deliver half of it to a couple in which the wife had cancer. They were very grateful, and she is now cancer-free, B"H (although probably not because of my food!)

  • no they are poor people who live in stinky apartment building and don't always have enough money for food

  • Um....I think volunteering for Magen David Adom for 6 months and setting up a course for about 15 more people who then volunteered was a pretty nice thing. But Shauli thinks it was nicer when I first "met" Mikey Butler online. I found out he was in the hospital and sent around a mass e-mail asking people to drop him a line to feel good. And Mikey ended up getting a whole bunch of random letters with people's good wishes. Shauli said that was more personal.
    What about you?
