new car?

after my accident which totalled my car and had me a baby it was time to find a new mode of transportation, devo said no to a motorcycle and there was no room for kuti anyway. so i started to focus on cars specifically i focused on the focus the ford focus. i went to dave yaari who really likes sim (he had that little probe) and he didnt have anything available for me at this time, so i started looking in the papers i came across a 2007 toyota camry hybrid for under 3000 which was too good to be true so i pursued it for only 2 emails and dropped that lead then i was thinknig new or used and i decided on used and then i saw a really good deal for a new 2010 ford focus so i took the bait and of course hat car wsnt avaialable BUT they had a 2011 focus for just a little more so i said fine, but the dealership is in fenton 35 + miles from home but they were giving a really good deal ...i thought. so then i called avis ford even though i hate avis because they sold me clifford , and they gave the exact same price w/o any problem , so i talked back to the fenton people and told them forget it and they said they would deliver the car to my house. woohoo very exciting. so they were supposed to drop it iff tonight after 4pm so at 4:45pm i called to find out when they were coming and my sales guy who was gonna drive the car over was OFF FOR THE DAY and his sales manager who offere to have the car driven to make the sale OFF FOR THE DAY. so the on sit manager told me he would find out what was goiung on and call back so over an hour later the sales rep who was off called me and apologized over and over again and offered to put in a remote starter for me and then drive the car tomorrow evening. i told him that really i didnt wat the remote starter i would rather of he took off $1000. he said he couldnt do that and the starter is something he would have to pay for himself so i said fine. hopefully tomorrow i'll get a new car after work woohoo

Hey all - finally got to Detroit!

Just wanted to first of all, wish Shlomo a happy birthday,and second of all I wanted to thank him for being really incredible the past week...Thanks you for driving me back and forth from my apartment to mom and dads apartment to you apartment, back again when I forgot my keys... and then after all that, taking me to the airport. Thank you SO SO much. You get all the points!

happy birthday fry and mom and dad.
we had a great brunch this morning at dee and harry's . justin came in for the party too. we had bagels from jerusalem and cheryl and devorah made a whole bunch f other foods. so heres what happened. on shabbos someone came and told devorah that she needed to know who else was invited because she figured the silverstein's were invited but when she asked them for a ride they didnt know what she was talking about. so then i asked several other people if they got the invitation and they said no as well. that led to a frenzied calling on motzei shabbos to all the people that were supposed to be invited and we found that everyone but 3 or 4 people so it turns out that most of them weren't coming up anyway. but we had fun anyway and mom and dad said they were surprised i gave them the birthday gift and they were very excited about it. i also told the bocas we have one for them and it almost brought bubbie to tears. happy tears that is. hopefully the israelis can try to make a birthday party for dad and include mom too when they come for the next month trip.

phoebe buffet

does anyone remember when phoebe's smoke alarm wouldnt stop beeping and she smashed it to pieces and still it wouldnt stop? then she threw it down the garbage chute and the firemen brought it back to her still beeping.
well last night at about 5:30 am our carbon monoxide detector went off, not beeping like we had a problem just beeping. it's not a battery issue because its plugged into the wall. i tried to stop the beeping and no mater what i did it kept beeping, so i did the only thing phoebe didnt do... i dunked it in a pot of water AND IT STOPPED! im thinking about calling pheobe to swap stories
