Where are you Dr. Zacks's???

I woke up yesterday with an eye infection. Yes, it's a self diagnosis but if I have learned anything from having a son with leaky eyes - it's that it's infected if the eyeball is red. And if it's not red, then it's probably just a cold and a gross leaky eye. :)
Both of my eyes are bloodshot and gross. And I'm not much of a drinker so it's not like a hangover. The extent of my late-night partying is waking up to feed Kayla. :)

So......I called my health clinic to make an appointment with the eye doctor (who only speaks Hebrew and Russian by the way). But her next available appointment is on Wednesday!! She isn't even in the office today (but she will be tomorrow so if it's an emergency I can try to call the branch and see if they can fit me in). Or I could probably go to Rosh HaAyin or Petach Tikvah to see someone. But it's rainy and I can't imagine trying to shlep Kayla out in the rain on a couple buses.

So, just wanted to post that I miss the Dr. Zacks's! Sr. and Jr. And your eye expertise! And your availability!!

Also, this is the second eye infection I have had in 2 months. What is that all about?

i went to aaron sigler's funeral today. it was sad.

How/when/where do the Israeli Zacks' clan generally celebrate Purim? Jonah informed us that Mom and Dad will be here to celebrate with us too so that's exciting. The more the merrier!!

I am only curious if anything has been discussed because I am supposed to help plan a Purim Event for the Ariel Anglos and I want to make sure they don't conflict.

i received 2 parking tickets on my last trip to NY (on the same day) but this time was different than all the other parking tickets i've gotten in the past. WE WERE IN THE CAR! the first time we were waiting in a bus stop for devorah who was in a store. we were all the way at the begining (or end) of the bus stop and the busses had no problem getting to their proper destination, a cop comes by and starts writing a ticket for standing in the bus stop. i told her quite eloquently and unabashadly what i though of her and the state of new york. she told me she didnt really care what i thought. chanalana was worried i was going to jail. she told me i was blocking the busses and i told her they didnt have any problem until she showed up and is standing in their way and if she would get out of their way no one would hve a problem. that ticket put me in a very foul mood. but it only got added to when later that day in brooklyn after a very nice ice skating outing with cheryl and some kids we went to bagel hole for some sustenance. i doulble parked in a row of cars that were all double parked but devo and the kids were all in the car, so it is nbot called double parking, anywhoo. you know the end of the story. the guiy behind devo jumped out of his car and started yelling at the cop as to why he would give us a tickjet because THEY WERE IN THE CAR. he said he didnt really care, and he already started writing the ticket so there is nothing he can do. i think thats a whole lotta hogwash but that just madee my bagels from 89 cents to about 15 dollars each. in short ani sone et new york meod meod!!
oh yeah we had a great time with MIL and family and a very nice loooong drive back and forth
