these guys were lonely in the garage

crazy hot 1 st day sweating profusely in succah, crazy windy 2 nd day and hot many succahs not kosher,ours lost a few bamboo but we were ok. lost many decorations , and then shabbos turned downrught chilly everyone i know with mats had at least some if then blow off and that was even w/ 2 x4 on top to hold them down ! yehuda really enjoyed his first days of succos dad you sponsored a very nice shalosh seudos tonite . have a good moed

chag sameach to all. finished my succah tonight, MIL and GIL (grandma) came in town, we are very happy about that. SIL and BIL could not come. tomorrow the kids can decorate, which really means me or devorah and the kids devo still cooking very tired, yehuda finally fell asleep . still very tired.

in other news yael was wondering if anyone has any good quotes for her. she may be chosen one day this year as the star of the class and that person has to have a quote for instance this weeks stars quote was :think well and it will be well"
i had a few suggestions like you cant handle the truth and rolling stone gathers no moss, if you cant beat em join em, devorah suggested Isyism's such as cant sit for standing and cant win for losing. yael was hoping somebody may have a better idea

Camping Trip

Those Detroit Zacks seem to have so much fun on their camping trip - time to have a Zacks Family Trip here too!! Horowitzs are invited too of course, but I don't know how newborns feel about camping......

Anyone interested in camping over Chol Hamoed Sukkot? We are planning to go on Sunday night (maybe) and Monday night. We want to be in the Haifa vicinity because we plan on going to the Family Fun Festival at the Kfar Hassidim Youth village (http://www.nbn.org.il/jnbncal/main/0/2382) on Monday.

Succot question

We (The Shauli and Natalies) are planning on going camping over chol hamoed. The question of eating in a succah came up. If we are supposed to eat in in a succah anything that we would generally eat in the house, do we have to eat campfood in a succah since that is something that is always eaten outdoors?
